
| The Sexual Assault Survivors Emergency Treatment Act requires every hospital that provides general medical and surgical services to have a plan to provide hospital emergency services to sexual assault survivors approved by the Illinois Department of Public Health. The Department will periodically conduct on-site reviews of approved plans to insure established procedures are being followed. On Jan. 1, 2007 and each January 1 thereafter, the Department will submit a report to the Illinois General Assembly that includes:
