State Public Health Director to visit Stephenson County

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- Dr. Eric E. Whitaker, state public health director, will be in Freeport on Wednesday (Feb. 25) as part of a series of visits he is conducting throughout the state to meet with public health staff, community leaders and organizations.

Dr. Whitaker's schedule:

10 a.m.		Tour Stephenson County Health Department Environmental Health Offices 5295 Lamm Road Freeport

10:45 a.m.		Meet with Stephenson County Health Department staff and Board of Health; tour agency's facility 10 W. Linden St. Freeport

Noon		Luncheon at new Freeport Public Library 100 E. Douglas St. Freeport

1:15 p.m.		Presentation of the Stephenson County 21st Century Healthy Communities Needs Assessment and Plan 100 E. Douglas St. Freeport

2 p.m.		Meet with Stephenson County Medical Public Health Emergency Response Team 100 E. Douglas St. Freeport
