As a subcontract recipient, IFQHC will be part of the Health Information Security and Privacy Collaboration (HISPC), working closely with RTI to develop practical solutions to privacy and security issues surrounding health information technology. PurposeIFQHC will follow RTI’s methodology to accomplish the following:
In order to fulfill its obligations within its contract with RTI, IFQHC will convene a steering committee and several working groups consisting of key state-level stakeholder and industry experts. The RTI/Illinois Project Steering Committee will be drawn from members of the Illinois Electronic Health Records Taskforce.
