Getting Started in EGrAMS – PDF | EGrAMS Instructional Guide – PDF

Application due date is Friday, August 1, 2014 at 4 p.m.

Applications are now being accepted for programs that are interested in participating in the Brothers and Sisters United Against HIV/AIDS (BASUAH) Communities of Color Initiative. “Communities of color” is used to describe those racial and ethnic minorities that have been given priority attention by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health because of their well-documented health needs and disparate health status when compared to the total population. For the purpose of this document, the term, “Communities of Color,” refers to African Americans, Latino/Hispanic Americans, American Indians and Alaska Natives, Pacific Islanders, Asian Americans, and immigrants from Africa and the Caribbean. The focus of the fiscal year 2015 campaign will be HIV prevention, education, testing and care programs targeting communities of color. Programs should be unique and culturally innovative, sustainable, and increase the Illinois Department of Public Health Center for Minority Health Services’ ability to address the complexities that make these populations more vulnerable.
